Board & Train
Our Board and Train program is designed to get your puppy started off on the right paw! This program is either a 2 week or 4 week program designed for puppies 10 weeks to 7 months old. At Southpaw Dog Training we treat your animals like our own, you can assure your dog will be happy and comfortable here all while learning how to be a good boy/girl. Your puppy will be receiving daily training lessons from our Certified Professional Dog Trainer Hana and field trips. You will receive videos on your puppy’s progress, homework following their stay, and a follow up visit to ensure your pup is settling in at home.

Our 4-Week Board and Train program is designed to give your puppy the best start possible. Perfect for puppies ages 10 weeks to 1 years old, this program focuses on building strong foundations that last a lifetime.
During their stay, your puppy will learn essential obedience cues such as sit, down, come, and settle on a bed. We also cover important life skills including proper socialization, potty training, and loose leash walking.
So what makes the 4-week program different from the 2-week option? While both provide structure and consistency, the 4-week program goes further. You’ll have the opportunity to customize training goals to fit your puppy’s unique needs, while your puppy also benefits from extra field trips that boost confidence and social skills in real-world environments.
This extended program ensures your puppy not only learns the basics but also develops the confidence, manners, and adaptability needed to thrive at home and out in the world.
Additional Details
Vaccinations
All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations, including parvo, distemper, bordetella, and rabies. Owners must also provide a fecal sample from their veterinarian.
Grooming
For dogs that require regular grooming, they must be groomed within 4 weeks of their arrival at our facility. Please be sure to pack a brush with your pup for their stay. ALL dogs must have their nails trimmed and filed before arrival.
